What books are you reading?
Well, on the table is Andrew Chaikin's "A Man on the Moon" (an excellent overview of the Apollo missions - hence the moon globe which I was using to keep myself orientated), my Bible and Ernst Bloch's fine "Atheism in Christianity". Not in the picture are the three volumes of Bloch's magnum opus "The Principle of Hope" and Jonathan Lear's book "Radical Hope: Ethics in the Face of Cultural Devastation". So a cheery book there. For some lighter reading I've just finished Andrew Smith's "Moondust" - a meditation on the meaning of the moonlandings.

There you are, not sure this says much of use but it is what I'm reading.
