A few photos from an afternoon spin to Fen Ditton and along Low Fen Drove Way
The Raleigh Superbe in Fen Ditton churchyard |
As you'll see below, the church has a number of splendidly ghoulish 18th century gravestones and I spent a pleasant hour there wandering around the graveyard taking a few photos, drinking my flask of tea and reading Tolstoy in the shade of a still flowering Laburnum tree.
I headed back home via the public byway called Low Fen Drove Way that runs over Honey Hill and by Snouts Corner. As I got to Stourbridge Common the May Bumps were in full swing so I stopped there for a while as well to enjoy the student's post-exam festivities.
