What is the Philosophy of Movement? by Thomas Nail — A recommended paper

Last week, a philosopher called Thomas Nail (whose work on Lucretius I particularly admire) published a helpful introductory paper called What is the Philosophy of Movement? A few minutes ago I printed a copy up for an interested member of the congregation and, as I did this, it occurred to me that there may be others of you who read this blog who might be interested in having sight of it as well.

I share it because I am fully persuaded that any coherent (enough) modern liberal religion/philosophy must have at its heart just such a philosophy of movement. As teachers everywhere love to say: Discuss!
